The DuckCreek Business Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and documenting business requirements for insurance platforms powered by Duck Creek technologies. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and support the configuration and deployment of Duck Creek applications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements related to DuckCreek systems.
Configure DuckCreek modules, including policy, billing, and claims, to meet business needs.
Support the implementation of DuckCreek templates and tools.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
Assist in creating user stories and use cases for development.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Work closely with QA teams to validate the configuration and customizations.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshoot issues.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Present updates, solution designs, and post-implementation feedback.
Identify areas for process improvement within DuckCreek modules.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing implementations.
Proficiency in DuckCreek Author, Policy Admin System (PAS), or other DuckCreek tools.
Knowledge of XML, JSON, and other configuration formats.
Experience with rating engines and integration points.
Strong understanding of insurance workflows (policy, billing, claims).
Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
