Summary

Job Title: Workday Scheduling Lead
Experience: 12+ Years (with Workday HCM/Workforce Management experience)

Role Summary

The Workday Scheduling Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Scheduling solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders, HR, operations, and project teams to optimize workforce scheduling processes and ensure successful deployment of Workday Workforce Management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of Workday Scheduling.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to workforce scheduling.
  • Configure Workday Scheduling, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules.
  • Design and implement scheduling rules, shifts, rotations, labor demand planning, and employee availability models.
  • Conduct workshops and solution design sessions with stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on Workday best practices and industry standards.
  • Perform system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
  • Lead data migration and integration activities related to workforce management.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on inbound/outbound integrations.
  • Support post-production activities, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Mentor junior consultants and coordinate project deliverables.
  • Manage client expectations, project timelines, risks, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of Workday implementation experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Scheduling and Workforce Management.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Workday Scheduling
    • Workday Time Tracking
    • Workday Absence Management
    • Workforce Management
    • Business Process Configuration
    • Security Configuration
  • Experience leading client workshops and solution design sessions.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, shift scheduling, and workforce optimization concepts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Workday certification in:
    • Scheduling
    • Time Tracking
    • Absence Management
  • Experience with Workday Extend and Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience managing global workforce scheduling requirements.
