Position: Business Systems Analyst

Client: Oakland County

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support projects across Infrastructure Services, including Networking, Server, Workstation Services, Microsoft 365/O365, VoIP Telecommunications, and Service Center teams.

The analyst will gather and document requirements, analyze data, help design solutions, and support testing and implementation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of assignments and communicates effectively with business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for IT infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with Networking, Server, Workstation Services, O365, VoIP, and Service Center teams.
  • Support ServiceNow integrations involving Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB discovery, and Webex.
  • Analyze data to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help design technology solutions and ensure deliverables meet specifications.
  • Support testing and implementation of technology solutions.
  • Research existing systems and develop procedures to improve their operation.
  • Create technical documentation and provide training and support to users.
  • Prepare Requests for Proposals and contract scopes of deliverables.
  • Take ownership of project assignments and coordinate with stakeholders to meet delivery requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations involving Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB discovery, and Webex.
  • Strong experience using the Microsoft 365 Productivity Suite.
  • Data analytics experience.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned deliverables.
