Description
We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will contribute to the success of a Workday implementation project by ensuring thorough testing and quality assurance across multiple functional areas. This is a long-term contract position where you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of the Workday system across various functional domains.
Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, identifying gaps and designing new test scenarios as needed.
Utilize testing tools and methodologies provided by the system integrator to ensure consistent and effective testing.
Monitor and manage defect tracking, participating in triage discussions and driving resolution efforts.
Maintain clear communication with the Workday Implementation Lead, providing updates and insights related to testing activities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the testing process.
Periodically attend onsite meetings when required to coordinate with the system integrator and project team.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
Ensure all testing activities meet established quality standards and project guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing roles.
Proficiency in manual testing and the ability to execute automated testing using Selenium.
Strong skills in script writing and creating detailed, executable test cases.
Experience with Workday systems and testing processes is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of defect tracking, triage, and resolution techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Ability to work in a hybrid schedule and attend onsite meetings as required.
