OverviewVision Technologies, LLC is supporting a large-scale data center project in Northern Virginia and is seeking motivated, safety-focused technicians to join our team. This project involves extensive fiber installation and data center infrastructure work within active data center environments.
We are looking for proactive, team-oriented individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and take pride in quality work. This role is ideal for candidates who can work independently, follow direction, and contribute positively to a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Pull and route fiber throughout the data center
- Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks
- Scan, label, and port equipment
- Support general installation and infrastructure tasks as directed
- Adhere to all safety procedures and site requirements
Required Qualifications & Attributes- Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, skilled trades, military, or similar)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued
- Ability to work on ladders and lifts
- Comfort working in structured data center environments
- Team-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
Project Details- Scope of Work: Fiber installation, porting, labeling, and testing/troubleshooting (Fluke/OTDR); no fiber splicing required
- Environment: Active large-scale data centers
- Timeline: Project start planned for mid-May following site readiness and material availability
