Role Overview
A successful candidate will participate in the transformation and implementation of critical batch processing within the compliance technology organization of a large financial institution. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different groups and various organizational levels. As part of an agile scrum team, the candidate will work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality ETL Informatica code, create Unix scripts, and build scalable database systems. The position involves hands-on architecture and development to drive design and implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the transformation and implementation of critical batch processing systems.
- Work within an agile scrum team to refine user requirements.
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable ETL Informatica code.
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for process automation and execution.
- Design and manage scalable database systems, focusing on Oracle platforms.
- Serve as a hands-on architect and developer, driving design and implementation.
- Optimize query performance and ensure the efficiency of data warehousing and OLTP solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 10+ years of professional experience developing solutions in ETL Informatica.
- 5-10 years of experience in a Unix environment and with shell scripting.
- Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile process (Scrum/Kanban), including practices like pair programming and daily stand-ups.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the relevant problem domain.
Technical Skills:- Recent experience with Informatica version 10.5.2 is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and creating stored procedures.
- Experience with Oracle databases, including version 19c, and query performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domain-driven design.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Relevant industry experience in Compliance, such as Entity or Transaction Scanning.
- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $63.00 and $68.26 per hour.
