We are seeking an Application Programmer with extensive experience in application development. The ideal candidate will be an active participant in an Agile scrum team, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of solutions involving Oracle databases, Informatica/ETL, and Linux environments. This role involves daily interactions with the product owner and limited interaction with client and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an active participant in the scrum team, contributing to story estimation, tailoring, and grooming to ensure timely completion.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), Informatica/ETL, and Linux.
- Develop highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing.
- Design, model, and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance.
- Conduct advanced query and application performance tuning in high-volume environments.
- Manage and process large datasets efficiently.
- Integrate Data Warehouse solutions with Business Intelligence platforms.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of work experience in application development is required.
Technical Skills:- Expertise in Oracle database (SQL, PL/SQL), including architecture and core internals.
- Strong proficiency with Informatica (PowerCenter and IDMC) and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling (Star and Snowflake schemas).
- Proficiency in Tableau development and dashboard visualization.
- Experience with Hadoop.
- Knowledge of Financial Crimes, Economic Sanctions, and AML screening processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with containers and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Exposure to APIs, Spring, Java, Kafka, MQ, and YAML.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and JIRA.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $65.00/hr - $68.26/hr
