Job Title: Product Owner / Scrum Master - Credit/Lending

Job Location: Irving, TX / Phoenix, AZ | Onsite 5 days a week

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an Product Owner / Scrum Master to join our growing team. In this role, you will drive product vision and backlog prioritization while facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring successful sprint delivery through close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for credit-related initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, business teams, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and development teams.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions.
  • Ensure product features align with regulatory, compliance, and risk standards within the credit domain.
  • Monitor product performance and continuously optimize based on feedback and data.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in the Credit domain, Commercial Credit experience.
  • Hands-on experience as Scrum master
  • Domain knowledge on underwriting
  • Understand Credit Models like PD Models (Probability of Default) and CD Models (Credit Deterioration)
  • Knows Rare Risk Framework
  • Understanding of Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) Models standard requires financial institutions to recognize expected credit losses over the life of Loan
  • Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and working closely with Scrum teams
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Solid understanding of credit lifecycle, underwriting, risk assessment, and compliance processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
