Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Analyst to support database development, maintenance, performance optimization, data analysis, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, along with experience in database migrations, data quality analysis, KPI development, and Power BI reporting.

The candidate will collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure database reliability, optimize performance, support deployments, and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor KPIs, metrics, operational reports, and performance dashboards.

• Create database reports, configure alerts, and support ongoing database monitoring.

• Perform database migrations, replication support, vendor build deployments, and hardware replacement coordination.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

• Troubleshoot database issues and improve query execution, performance, and reliability.

• Coordinate third-party database patching activities and support database security and stability.

• Conduct data analysis to assess data accuracy, integrity, relevance, and business value.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and decision-making.

• Analyze business requirements, application architecture, data dictionaries, processing workflows, and database schemas.

• Support database operations across multiple platforms and computing environments.

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to resolve issues and improve database processes.

• Manage multiple assignments and provide technical guidance to junior team members when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience in database administration, SQL programming, database design, or related areas.

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.

• Experience with database maintenance, migration, replication, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Experience in data analysis, report development, and KPI/metrics management.

• Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Ability to interpret complex data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.

• Knowledge of database monitoring, alert configuration, and patch management.

• Understanding of data validation, normalization, data integrity, and data quality assessment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver technical solutions within established timelines.

• Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring junior team members.
