Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Production Support position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing 24x7 follow-the-sun support coverage for real-time banking applications. This role involves resolving system issues and user-reported incidents, supporting change and release activities, and working closely with technology and business partners on risk, audit, and regulatory activities.
Responsibilities: - Provide day-to-day production application support
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues on the banking platform and associated applications, participating in incident bridges to drive resolution
- Provide technical support on payments applications, including in-depth technical analysis and root cause investigation
- Document and maintain operational procedures, issue resolutions, and contingency documents
- Fulfill risk, audit, and regulatory requests
- Manage stakeholders across business and technology groups
- Engage in initiative work and drive process improvement opportunities through improved monitoring, automation, and simplification
Requirements: - Technology background, ideally with experience in Unix/Linux
- Experience with SQL Database query language
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools
- Experience in application support processes including incident management, release management, and risk governance
- Knowledge and experience in problem and conflict management
- Ability to work and manage stakeholders across various locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
