RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is looking for a fully remote Software QA Engineer.
Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of a large-scale auction platform. The Software QA Engineer will design and execute test plans, build automated and manual test suites, and validate end-to-end workflows across multiple integrated systems. You'll collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure features meet business requirements and quality standards.
This position requires strong analytical skills, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You'll contribute to continuous improvement efforts, lead root-cause analysis for multi-platform defects, and communicate testing results effectively to both technical and non-technical partners. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in QA methodologies, coding competency, strong API testing skills, and the ability to mentor others while maintaining high resilience under pressure.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of QA experience in manual and automated testing
* Expert knowledge of QA methodologies and tools (Selenium required)
* Coding experience in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript
* Strong SQL skills and ability to validate backend workflows
* API testing experience using Postman
* Experience testing web and mobile web (iOS/Android) applications
* Ability to design and execute test plans for end-to-end workflows
* Strong troubleshooting abilities across integrated systems
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Experience with technologies such as .NET, JSON, Node, Angular
Nice to Have:
TestRail, Kafka, Kibana, JMeter, Playwright, Azure (APIM, KeyVault), CI/CD pipelines, SignalR, REST-based integrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
