Overview

We are seeking experienced ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro Consultants to support a large-scale IT Asset Management modernization initiative for a leading financial services organization.

This role focuses on implementing Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) on a greenfield ServiceNow platform while integrating with a newly built CMDB.

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure ServiceNow HAM Pro
    • Hardware asset lifecycle
    • Asset normalization
    • Retirement workflows
    • Discovery reconciliation
  • Configure ServiceNow SAM Pro
    • Software normalization
    • Publisher management
    • License management
    • End-of-life and end-of-support tracking
  • Integrate HAM Pro and SAM Pro with ServiceNow CMDB
  • Configure commercial software connectors and SaaS integrations
  • Support regulated reporting requirements
  • Participate in testing, UAT, and production cutover
  • Collaborate with CMDB engineering and platform teams

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on implementation experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro
  • Strong understanding of IT Asset Management processes
  • Experience with:
    • Hardware asset lifecycle
    • Software asset lifecycle
    • Software normalization
    • Retirement and disposal workflows
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow ITAM with CMDB
  • Ability to work in enterprise implementation environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIS-HAM or CIS-SAM certification
  • Experience with regulated environments
  • Experience migrating from legacy ITAM platforms (Flexera, Snow, Aspera, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CSDM
