We are looking for a Technical Enterprise Architect (AI Specialist) for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the overall technology architecture and target-state design for large-scale pension/benefits modernization initiatives
• Establish architectural standards, patterns, and governance processes across multiple initiatives and workstreams
• Provide architecture oversight and ensure alignment across business objectives, implementation teams, and technical solutions
• Design and guide cloud, integration, and AI architecture decisions, with a strong focus on Azure platforms
• Lead the development of AI-based data reconciliation frameworks that are automated, repeatable, and auditable
• Architect and implement solutions for complex data migration and data reconciliation efforts
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide input into customer presentations, technical documentation, and training for ERS staff
• Lead and direct technical teams in the execution of architecture strategies and deliverables
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, including cost modeling, approvals, and governance processes
• Maintain deep knowledge of pension/benefits systems, industry standards, and internal services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise-scale solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Apply deep expertise in AI architecture, cloud design, and integration architecture
• Design and deliver data migration and data reconciliation solutions
• Build AI-driven data reconciliation frameworks and automation processes
• Architect large, complex pension/benefits modernization solutions
• Provide expert-level technical guidance as a trusted advisor
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive-level presentations
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and delivering complex solutions
• Demonstrate creativity, strategic thinking, and problem-solving in solution design
You:
• 25+ years experience in Information Technology
• 25+ years experience in pension/benefits systems development and modernization
• 10+ years experience in integration architecture and enterprise-scale system design
• 3+ years experience with Azure cloud platforms
• 3+ years experience implementing AI-based solutions
• Experience working with public pension or government benefit systems preferred.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives preferred.
• Experience with governance frameworks and architectural review processes preferred.
