Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Workday Security Architect to design, implement, and manage the security architecture for customer Workday platform. This role will be responsible for developing a secure and compliant environment across HCM, Payroll, and Finance modules while ensuring alignment with business, audit, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will act as the primary security expert for Workday, collaborating with global HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure robust access management and governance.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary security expert for Workday, collaborating with global HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure robust access management and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Design & Architecture
- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of Workday Security (Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, Segregation of Duties).
- Develop security roles, groups, and access structures across HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Recruiting modules.
- Assess security impact for Workday releases, enhancements, and integrations.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure security design complies with SOX, GDPR, and other global regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic security audits and monitor role assignments for compliance.
- Maintain security documentation, policies, and tenant security management processes.
- Collaboration & Support
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Functional teams to gather and implement security requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices for security in ongoing Workday projects and releases.
- Act as the primary advisor for resolving security-related issues and access management escalations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify security enhancements in line with new Workday features and releases.
- Recommend optimizations to streamline access and reduce security risk.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Workday experience, with 4+ years dedicated to Workday Security design and architecture.
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM Core Security; exposure to Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, or Financials preferred.
- Proven ability to configure Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, and Segregation of Duties.
- Experience in tenant security management, security audits, and compliance processes.
- Knowledge of SOX, GDPR, and enterprise security best practices.
- Workday HCM or Security certification preferred.
