Title: Test Automation Engineer
Location: Newark, NJ
Work Mode: Hybrid( 1-2 days onsite a week)

Overview:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Tosca and Selenium who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of the applications. This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks, scripting, and test execution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Tosca and Selenium.
• Create and execute automated test cases to validate functional, regression, and performance requirements.
• Develop and implement automation strategies to improve test efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test requirements.
• Perform integration and end-to-end testing across various platforms and environments.
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed reports.
• Maintain automation scripts and frameworks in a version-controlled environment.
• Enhance test automation coverage by identifying and implementing new test cases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate test automation with DevOps processes.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on expertise in Tosca (Tricentis) and Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, BDD, etc.).
• Experience in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, TestRail).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.).
• Understanding of API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Tricentis Tosca Certification is a plus to have
• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus to have
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus to have
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus to have
