Role Overview
As the Principal Technical Product Manager for the AI Health Cloud, you will define and lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of AI-powered healthcare platforms and analytics experiences. You will shape platform capabilities and drive execution across engineering, AI/ML, data, clinical, pharmacy, and provider teams. This role is responsible for defining high-level features for new projects, such as document understanding and benefit analysis, with an AI-powered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize the multi-year product vision for AI-driven healthcare analytics, workflow automation, and decision support across payer, provider, and pharmacy domains.
- Provide senior-level technical direction for engineering, AI/ML, and architecture teams building scalable, cloud-native AI platforms.
- Lead strategies for integrating multi-source healthcare data from providers (EHR/EMR, clinical documentation, FHIR), payers (claims, eligibility), and pharmacy systems.
- Own end-to-end product requirements across clinical workflows, pharmacy operations, provider processes, and AI/ML use cases.
- Ensure product capabilities comply with CMS, NCQA, HIPAA, and internal Responsible AI policies.
- Champion AI-driven insights including predictive analytics, care coordination recommendations, and workflow automation features.
- Serve as the principal product owner and primary liaison across engineering, clinical, pharmacy, and external provider partners.
- Understand and question technical processes, such as document ingestion and automation, to identify missing technical features.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 15+ years of experience in technical product management, AI/ML platforms, cloud data products, or large-scale healthcare technology initiatives. The candidate must be able to lead projects and define features with or without direct hands-on AI experience.
Technical Skills: Strong experience across provider, pharmacy, and payer domains, including familiarity with clinical, operational, and pharmacy workflows. Expertise in healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, claims data, and pharmacy system integrations is required. The ability to understand and question technical processes is essential, though coding or creating architectural diagrams is not expected.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on AI experience is considered a bonus.
- Experience with Azure, AI/ML tooling, and modern MLOps frameworks.
- Knowledge of LLMs, model evaluation, agent frameworks, and AI governance.
- Experience with provider analytics, pharmacy performance programs, Stars/HEDIS measures, and care management workflows.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI and Databricks AI/BI.
