Job Description:

AV & IT Support Technician

Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Contract Duration: 12 months

Overview

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced AV and IT Support Technician to support a large enterprise innovation center in Eden Prairie, MN. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring a polished professional who can manage technical environments, support live events, and deliver white-glove service to executive-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot audio/visual and IT equipment across the innovation center
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and daily equipment checks
  • Develop root cause analysis for recurring technology issues and drive timely resolution
  • Maintain PCs used throughout the center for content display; open and manage tickets with IT as needed
  • Provide technical execution support for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, meetings, and tours
  • Collaborate with event stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Deploy and test presentation content to endpoints prior to events and meetings
  • Learn and rehearse presentation content to ensure smooth transitions and functional understanding
  • Deliver professional, polished customer service to all levels of the organization including senior leadership

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of audio/visual technology management experience
  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with current video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx)
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, cloud services, and presentation technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable interacting with C-suite executives and high-visibility stakeholders
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across a large enterprise organization
