Summary

DPP is seeking a Genesys Cloud CX Developer for a partially onsite opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Location: Partial onsite Tues., Wed., and Thurs. as needed in Columbia, SC.
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; some on-call and weekend work required.
Duration: 12 months, with possibility of conversion; W2 position

Position summary:

Lead the design and development of advanced Genesys Cloud Architect workflows (IVR, digital, routing, NLU-driven call flows).
Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation, including FRDs, workflow diagrams, and integration specifications.
Participate in and/or lead discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to mentor junior developers and influence architectural decisions.

About the team:

The team is a mix of 10 Developers and Business System Analysts who are working on Contact Center Migration projects to Genesys Cloud system.

Required technologies:

Genesys Cloud
Java Script, Python, or Node.js
REST APIs, JSON, and service integrations
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Nice to have:

Genesys Certifications such as:
- Genesys Cloud CX Developer (CCX GCD)
- Genesys Cloud CX Architect (GCX ARC)
- Lucid Charts or other workflow modeling tools

Minimum required work experience:

6 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
