Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Java Developer with 1–7 years of hands-on experience in Java application development. The ideal candidate should have strong Core Java fundamentals, experience developing backend services and REST APIs, and familiarity with databases, testing, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

  • Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.

  • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Work with relational databases and write SQL queries.

  • Troubleshoot bugs, debug applications, and resolve technical issues.

  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.

  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Use Git and follow established SDLC and Agile practices.

  • Contribute to application performance improvements and ongoing enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–7 years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).

  • Familiarity with collections, exception handling, multithreading, and Java fundamentals.

  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or a comparable Java framework.

  • Knowledge of REST APIs and backend application development.

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with Git, debugging, and unit testing using JUnit or similar frameworks.

  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, or Hibernate.

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.

  • Exposure to Maven or Gradle, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS.

  • Knowledge of automated testing and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
