Senior Network Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Test Engineer in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Senior Network Test Engineer will collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements, identify risks, and support project objectives
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate system functionality and performance
* Review requirements and documentation to identify gaps, ambiguities, and testable conditions
* Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
* Validate system configurations, connectivity, performance, reliability, and overall solution quality
* Create and maintain test environments, test data, and supporting documentation
* Capture and analyze test results, logs, and other evidence to support defect identification and resolution
* Investigate and troubleshoot issues across applications, systems, networks, and configurations
* As a Senior Network Test Engineer, you will track and manage defects through resolution and retesting processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
* Support implementation activities, production validation, and post-deployment testing efforts
* Contribute to process improvements through automation, scripting, and standardized testing practices
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous delivery initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, testing, systems validation, or a related technical field
* Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies
* Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
* Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting defects
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
* Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or technology deployments
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
* Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, networking concepts, or enterprise technologies
* Familiarity with test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools
* Knowledge of system, application, or infrastructure troubleshooting concepts
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* Relevant industry certifications are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
