Summary

Job Title: IT Support Supervisor

Location-Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Support Supervisor to oversee daily IT support operations, manage a team of support technicians, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role involves supervising helpdesk activities, improving service quality, and maintaining IT systems reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the IT support/helpdesk team
Assign, prioritize, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely resolution
Provide guidance and technical support to team members
Handle escalated technical issues and ensure quick resolution
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
Ensure adherence to SLAs and service quality standards
Maintain documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions
Coordinate with other IT teams (network, system, security)
Train and mentor support staff
Prepare reports on team performance, ticket trends, and system issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles (4–7 years preferred)
Prior team handling or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and basic networking
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools
Exposure to IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
