Summary

Job Title: IT Support Supervisor

Location-Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Support Supervisor to oversee daily IT support operations, manage a team of support technicians, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. The role involves supervising helpdesk activities, improving service quality, and maintaining IT systems reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the IT support/helpdesk team
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide guidance and technical support to team members
  • Handle escalated technical issues and ensure quick resolution
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and service quality standards
  • Maintain documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions
  • Coordinate with other IT teams (network, system, security)
  • Train and mentor support staff
  • Prepare reports on team performance, ticket trends, and system issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles (4–7 years preferred)
  • Prior team handling or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and basic networking
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools
  • Exposure to IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
