Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineer for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region. This role involves developing and testing electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills. Responsibilities include translating requirements into system architectures and modifying hardware and software designs for aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and other advanced systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements based on customer needs and contract specifications.
- Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs.
- Test and validate systems to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
- Develop statements-of-work and technical performance specifications.
- Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies.
- Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solve problems related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is required.
Experience: 5-9 years of relevant experience is required.
Security Clearance: A final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance pre-start is required.
Location: Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate at their own expense to the St. Louis, Missouri region. This position is 100% onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
- Experience with electronic or electrical system designs or tests based on requirements.
- Knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture.
- Experience within a design, build, or test team.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00 per hour.
