Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Simphony POS professional to support, configure, and optimize enterprise-grade point-of-sale systems in a fast-paced hospitality/retail environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony POS and a strong understanding of POS operations, configuration, and integrations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and support Oracle Simphony POS across multiple locations
  • Manage menu engineering, pricing, promotions, and outlet configurations
  • Troubleshoot POS issues (hardware, software, network, and transaction flow)
  • Support integrations with:
    • Payment gateways
    • PMS / ERP systems
    • Kitchen display systems (KDS)
  • Perform system updates, patches, and environment maintenance
  • Ensure system uptime and resolve production incidents within SLA
  • Work closely with operations, IT, and vendor support teams
  • Support reporting, data validation, and transaction reconciliation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 7+ years experience in POS systems (hospitality/restaurant/retail)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony POS
  • Understanding of F&B or hospitality operations preferred
  • Experience with POS configuration (menus, checks, taxes, pricing rules)
  • Knowledge of Windows-based POS environments and basic networking
  • Experience troubleshooting live production environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with enterprise hospitality platforms
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted POS environments
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems
  • Experience supporting multi-location restaurant groups or hotel chains

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and incident management skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, live operational environments
  • Excellent communication with business and technical teams
  • Ownership mindset and proactive troubleshooting approach
