Job Title: ServiceNow Implementation Project Manager
Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site)
Job Duration: Contract through August 2027
Job Tasks and Activities:



  • Lead and manage the enterprise ServiceNow implementation and ongoing platform maturity roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, assumptions, and decision records.

  • Coordinate work across leadership, the Product Owner, Platform Owner, business stakeholders, technical teams, ServiceNow, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.

  • Lead initial implementation efforts for Incident Management, Service Request Management, and Employee Center, and support future platform expansion involving ITSM, Case Management, CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, reporting and analytics, governance, integrations, organizational change management, training, and other ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Facilitate project meetings, agendas, action items, decision tracking, executive status reporting, governance activities, and executive briefings.

  • Manage scope, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, communications, project performance, and corrective actions.

  • Coordinate testing, training, deployment, go-live readiness, post-implementation stabilization, knowledge transfer, transition documentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure deliverables meet Department quality expectations, business objectives, strategic priorities, and assigned timeframes.

  • Maintain a daily activity log in the project management tool, complete monthly timesheets with supporting documentation, and provide assigned work results as directed.

  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours or by the next business day, communicate significant concerns in writing, complete required training, and follow all Department, ISP, and team standards and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as required; work assignments may be reprioritized based on business needs, project priorities, and implementation sequencing.


Required Experience:



  • Minimum seven (7) years of enterprise information technology project management experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years managing ServiceNow implementation or platform expansion projects.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream technology projects.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams.

  • Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, scope, communications, and executive reporting.

  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors and implementation partners.

  • Experience using Agile, Hybrid, or iterative project delivery methodologies.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Ability to work on-site in the Tallahassee area and comply with applicable Department work schedules, security, confidentiality, background check, access, training, and employment verification requirements.


Preferred Experience:



  • Experience implementing multiple ServiceNow products or modules.

  • Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience developing executive dashboards, governance processes, and project reporting.

  • Experience leading organizational change management and user adoption activities.

  • Experience working within a public sector or government environment.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • ServiceNow certification(s).

  • Agile and/or Scrum certification.
