Role Overview
This position assists in the overall management of assigned construction and renewables projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. The role supports construction work performed by contractors and vendors, assessing productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and safety performance. This is primarily an office-based position in Juno Beach that may incorporate travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess productivity, monitor schedule compliance, evaluate work quality, and ensure safety performance on assigned projects.
- Participate in walk-downs of planned work and validate acceptance of completed work against design requirements.
- Review contractor payment requests and assist in scope control and budget oversight.
- Verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocation, assess field status, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate project activities with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local officials.
- Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies.
- Reinforce expectations for safety, procedure compliance, and appropriate work behaviors for all staff and contractors.
- Analyze key performance metrics, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required.
Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination, preferably within the construction or renewables industry.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools is essential. Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Work Environment
This role allows for up to 25% travel to project sites as required.
