Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dayforce Technical Lead to lead the design, development, integration, and support of Ceridian Dayforce solutions across HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, and Talent modules. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical SME, partnering with business stakeholders, HR operations, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Dayforce solutions.
This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in Dayforce configuration, integrations, reporting, data migration, and enterprise application support within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead technical design, implementation, and optimization of Dayforce solutions.
· Serve as the primary technical SME for Dayforce platform capabilities, architecture, and integrations.
· Configure and support Dayforce modules including Payroll, Workforce Management, HR, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and Time & Attendance.
· Design, build, and support inbound/outbound integrations between Dayforce and enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, ADP, Azure AD, and other third-party applications.
· Develop and maintain Dayforce reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and data extracts.
· Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
· Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
· Drive system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and release management activities.
· Establish best practices around platform governance, security, performance, and documentation.
· Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years of experience in HRIS/HCM systems with at least 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce experience.
· Strong experience with Dayforce configuration and administration.
· Expertise in Dayforce Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, HR, and Talent modules.
· Experience designing and supporting Dayforce integrations using APIs, SFTP, middleware, and file-based interfaces.
· Strong SQL, reporting, and data analysis skills.
· Experience with system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support.
· Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, and Workforce processes.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Dayforce certification(s).
· Experience supporting large enterprise environments with 5,000+ employees.
· Experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, or other enterprise HR platforms.
· Knowledge of SOX, payroll compliance, and security best practices.
· Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
