Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

Work Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer to design, develop and implement sophisticated system integration solutions, specializing in advanced MuleSoft development and the seamless integration of technologies such as digital twin, Azure, MQTT, and Snowflake.  Working work under general direction of the Senior Manager II Data Engineering, the Engineer monitors, debugs, and enhances the performance of applications.

Required Experience (5+ years):

• Enterprise MuleSoft Architecture & Delivery: Extensive experience leading MuleSoft (Mule 4.3+) enterprise integration programs across cloud and on-prem environments, including CloudHub and hybrid architectures.
• Digital Twin & Intelligent Ecosystem Integration: Proven expertise integrating MuleSoft with enterprise Digital Twin platforms, IoT ecosystems (MQTT), Azure services, Snowflake, and AI-driven systems to enable real-time operational visibility, predictive analytics, and asset intelligence.
• API Strategy & Advanced Integration Design: Expert in RESTful API architecture, reusable API frameworks, advanced integration patterns, and full lifecycle API governance using Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Exchange, API Manager).
• Real-Time Data & Event-Driven Architecture: Advanced proficiency in DataWeave, Kafka-based streaming, event-driven integration, and complex data transformation supporting high-volume enterprise environments.
• Automation & AI Enablement: Experience implementing MuleSoft RPA and AI-enabled automation to unlock real-time APIs and streamline operational workflows.
• DevOps & CI/CD Governance: Strong command of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Advanced MUnit to enable automated testing, secure deployments, and scalable integration delivery.
• Security, Governance & C4E Leadership: Deep knowledge of API security best practices and Center for Enablement (C4E) models to ensure standardized, secure, and scalable enterprise integration frameworks.
• Programming & Platform Expertise: Proficient in Java, Python, Linux environments, and custom Mule connector development.
• Production Support & Operational Excellence: Enterprise experience supporting mission-critical cloud and on-prem systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Emerging Technologies (Gen AI): Familiarity with Generative AI methodologies and embedding AI-driven capabilities within enterprise integration landscapes.

Required Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end development of MuleSoft integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of complex data integration projects.
• Define and drive the strategic vision for data integration, aligning with organizational goals and leveraging advanced technologies such as digital twin, Azure, MQTT, and Snowflake.
• Architect scalable and resilient integration solutions as an individual contributor.
• Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training for the development team.
• Implement MuleSoft security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the integration processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement of integration processes and methodologies.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive data integration strategies.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, solution architecture, and best practices across the data integration team.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in solving complex integration challenges, ensuring the team meets project timelines and objectives.
