Operations Data Analyst Senior

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations Data Analyst Senior in Oakland, CA.

Project Description:
This role will provide analytics support for Company's NPA and zonal electrification programs, an initiative focused on accelerating building electrification to avoid gas infrastructure investments and support long-term decarbonization goals.

Duties/Day to Day Overview:
* ETL Pipeline Creation: Develop and maintain an extract-transform-load data pipeline across multiple different core data environments to screen and prioritize electrification opportunities across Company's system
* New Data Sources: Provide recommendations to enhance data pipeline with new data sources and improved data processes
* Process Automation: Create automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing
* Dashboards and Ad Hoc Analysis: Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses in the form of dashboards or ad hoc reports

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4 years of related work experience
* Experience developing ETL pipelines
* Coding skills (Python, SQL, etc.)
* Demonstrated communication skills

Nice to Have:
* Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools
* Experience in GIS preferred
* Advanced skill in Python (or similar programming languages) for data analysis and automation
* Advanced skill in SQL and database query languages for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from data environments
* Advanced skill in designing and maintaining ETL processes for large datasets
* Familiarity with utility operations
* Able to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
