Summary

Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Lead

Natera is seeking a hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Lead within IS&T to serve as the single functional owner and key point of contact for Supply Chain & Manufacturing leadership across an aggressive Oracle Fusion SCM transformation. This role owns Oracle Fusion SCM end-to-end, from roadmap and backlog to hands-on configuration, delivery, and adoption, and is the primary IS&T partner for Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing leadership.

This role owns product outcomes, supply chain domain delivery, automation impact, and compliance readiness. The candidate will govern an offshore MSP for KTLO support while personally owning all net-new initiatives and capabilities within the SCM domain. Not just requirements gathering or ticket execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Ownership: Own the product vision, roadmap, sprint planning, and backlog for Oracle Fusion SCM, including Procurement, Purchasing, Demand Planning & MRP, Product Data Hub (PDH), New Product Introduction (NPI/NIR), Manufacturing, Inventory & Costing, and Logistics & Fulfillment. Drive full product lifecycle management from roadmap to backlog to delivery to adoption and value realization. Drive platform adoption through KPIs and data-driven improvements. Drive Redwood transition and adoption working with SCM stakeholders.
  • Single Owner - SCM Domain Delivery: Serve as the sole accountable owner for all Oracle Fusion SCM net-new initiatives from design through go-live. Own delivery roadmap, prioritization, and outcomes end to end with no hand-offs. Drive at pace in a high-velocity, high-expectation Supply Chain and Manufacturing environment.
  • Key Business POC - Supply Chain Leadership Partnership: Act as the primary point of contact for Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing leadership. Translate business requirements into system design, present solution decisions clearly, and build trusted relationships that position IS&T as a strategic partner and not a ticket queue.
  • Offshore MSP Governance - KTLO Oversight: Direct and govern the offshore managed service partner (MSP) responsible for keep-the-lights-on (KTLO) support across SCM modules. Set quality standards, review deliverables, escalate risks, and ensure MSP execution meets business SLAs while staying focused on transformation.
  • Solution Delivery: Perform hands-on functional configuration and system changes within Oracle Fusion SCM, including setups, controls, and process improvements. Lead end-to-end delivery including design, UAT, testing, training, documentation, quarterly upgrades, release readiness, and production stability.
  • Compliance, Audit Support & Controls: Own functional configuration supporting cycle count, physical inventory, cost rollups, and costing period close processes. Ensure SOX-compliant operational controls across Purchase req & NIRA workflows, manufacturing, costing, and inventory, including proper segregation of duties and audit traceability. Support SOX walkthroughs, prepare audit PBC documentation, maintain control documentation, and drive audit remediation within Oracle Fusion SCM.
  • Intelligent Automation Delivery: Design, implement, and drive AI and intelligent automation across supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing operations. Identify opportunities to rationalize manual workarounds with native Oracle capability and champion intelligent automation use cases across the SCM domain.
  • Data, Integrations & Insights: Collaborate with integration and engineering teams on extensions and integration of adjacent supply chain applications (e.g., LIMS, logistics platforms, carriers, PLM, QMS, MES), providing functional leadership, validation, and business context. Partner with data engineering teams to translate data into actionable insights and dashboards.
  • Trusted Reporting: Understand Supply Chain reporting and analytical requirements and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and insights using Oracle tools (BIP/OTBI) or by partnering with BI/Analytics teams. Drive data-driven improvements across SCM operations.
  • Advanced Demand Planning & Master Data Governance: Implement advanced demand planning capabilities, drive cleansing and standardization of BOM master data to ensure accurate costing results, and rearchitect the contract manufacturing process for improved scalability and efficiency.
  • Onsite Business Partnership & Process Optimization: Spend time onsite with the business to deeply understand current processes and workflows, map these to Oracle Fusion capabilities, and proactively suggest improvements to drive process optimization and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience owning/supporting Supply Chain ERP platforms within IS&T/IT with Oracle ERP implementation expertise.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM - functional configuration, data analysis & reporting (BIP/OTBI), testing, and production support.
  • Deep functional expertise across Demand Planning, PDH, MRP/Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory, Logistics, and Costing.
  • Proven hands-on experience with PLM/NIR workflows, quality processes, and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Supply chain and operations foundation with direct domain experience across planning, manufacturing, inventory, and fulfillment.
  • Offshore MSP management experience: ability to govern, direct, and hold accountable a third-party delivery team across KTLO and support functions.
  • Executive communication skills: proven ability to present, influence, and partner directly with Supply Chain VPs, Operations leadership, and senior manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Experience utilizing AI capabilities in transforming Supply Chain operations.
  • Direct experience integrating and governing best-of-breed SCM applications (LIMS, logistics platforms, PLM, QMS, MES).
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion SCM data models, integration patterns, and analytics.
  • Strong SOX, audit, and regulated-environment experience.
  • Proven ability to drive platform adoption and measurable value realization through KPIs and data-driven improvements.
  • Thrives in aggressive, high-velocity environments with shifting priorities and high Supply Chain leadership expectations.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and business outcomes mindset.
  • Strong project/program management skills and experience in Agile/iterative delivery models.
  • Commitment to clear documentation, governance, and operational rigor.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working at a Big 4 or Tier-1 consulting firm (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PwC) delivering Oracle SCM or enterprise ERP solutions.
  • Oracle Fusion SCM certifications.
  • CPIM, CSCP, CPSM or equivalent Supply Chain credentials.
  • Experience supporting SCM platforms through M&A, integrations, or rapid business scale.
  • Life sciences, diagnostics, or medical device industry experience.
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (life sciences preferred).
  • Experience driving intelligent automation in supply chain operations.
