• Support historical load and downstream validation activities across multiple environments, including DEV, TEST, and UAT.
• Perform first-round troubleshooting for ingestion, persistence, and processing issues affecting FHIR, HL7 v2, and CCD/C-CDA data flows before escalating to Product teams.
• Review logs, job outputs, transaction details, and system behavior to identify whether an issue is related to source data, ETL logic, configuration, infrastructure behavior, alerting gaps, or custom code.
• Record issues in Jira and/or approved tracking artifacts with clear reproduction steps, impact, affected environment, timestamps, supporting evidence, and recommended routing to the correct queue or owner.
• Collaborate with technical leads and developers to isolate issues involving custom code, preprocessing logic, transformations, or environment-specific behaviors.
• Collaborate with Product teams to document suspected defects and product gaps with sufficient technical detail to support triage and prioritization.
• Collaborate with QA to identify repetitive error patterns, improve regression coverage, and support automation opportunities where feasible.
• Collaborate with CloudOps / infrastructure stakeholders to identify alerting, performance, environment, or stability issues, including CPU spikes, node pressure, deployment-related anomalies, and log access concerns.
• Use command-line tools and basic scripting to validate files, investigate errors, compare outputs, and accelerate issue analysis.
• Use approved AI-assisted tooling, including Claude where permitted by Client policy, to improve speed of troubleshooting, evidence organization, and repetitive documentation tasks without bypassing required technical review.
• Escalate blockers promptly and clearly when issues require Product, QA, CloudOps, or Technical Lead intervention, while maintaining ownership of issue capture and follow-through until handoff is complete.
