Job#: 3034311 Job Description: Overview:We are seeking a Workday Financial Reporting Consultant to support a healthcare client that is currently live on Workday Financials. This engagement will focus on conducting a comprehensive assessment of the client's existing reporting environment and providing recommendations to improve reporting performance, usability, and alignment with leading practices.
This is a strategic advisory role - no hands-on development required.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the current Workday Financial Reporting landscape, including report design, performance, and usability
- Evaluate Workday Financial Data Model (FDM) and system configuration to determine impact on reporting capabilities
- Identify performance bottlenecks in reports and recommend optimization strategies (e.g., data sources, calculated fields, indexing)
- Troubleshoot complex report types including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports
- Review and provide insights on Discovery Boards and custom Dashboards
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations aligned with industry best practices
- Present assessment findings, status updates, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align reporting improvements with business needs
- Maintain professionalism and accountability while working in a client-facing environment
Required Qualifications:- Experience with Workday Financials reporting (FIN)
- Strong understanding of Workday FDM and configuration
- Proven ability to analyze and improve report performance
- Experience with complex Workday reporting types (Advanced, Matrix, Composite)
- Experience with Discovery Boards and Dashboards
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations
Preferred Certifications (one required):- Advanced Workday Reporting for Financials
- Workday Pro Financial Reporting Services Certification
Education:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
