Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration activities, including database development, schema conversion, PL/SQL transformation, data mapping, validation, and migration support.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, data pipelines, and integration workflows using SQL, Python, and enterprise integration platforms to support reliable data exchange.
Develop and support API-based integrations, middleware solutions, and microservices while collaborating with application teams to ensure compatibility with existing systems and business requirements.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical documentation while coordinating integration activities, resolving dependencies, and supporting successful solution delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
6–9 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, database development, or related technology roles, including experience with enterprise database migration and integration solutions.
Technical Skills:
Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, ETL Development, Data Pipelines, MuleSoft, API Integration, Database Migration
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise data migration and integration initiatives involving legacy database modernization, data transformation, and interconnected business applications.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience managing data conversion, schema transformation, data validation, reconciliation, and integration workflows to maintain data accuracy and continuity across enterprise systems.
Experience coordinating database, integration, and application development activities across technical teams to support modernization initiatives and reliable business system operations.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Java, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and enterprise application integration.
Exposure to AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices supporting application and data integration solutions.
Experience with React or other front-end technologies is beneficial for supporting potential future application development requirements.
