Job Description
We are seeking a Fullstack Java/React Developer - Accessibility to join our dynamic team supporting the FSM Accessibility project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE, React, and Oracle and a proven ability to design and deliver scalable, accessible applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java for back end and React for front end.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Develop and optimize Oracle database solutions, including PL/SQL and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Stay current with relevant industry trends, technologies, and frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE with frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Advanced experience with React and front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux).
- Proven expertise in Oracle database development, including PL/SQL and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with effective communication and teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to additional front-end frameworks or libraries.
