This role requires strong technical judgment, program management expertise, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will define and resolve cross-functional challenges using structured program management methodologies, adjust plans as conditions evolve, and manage stakeholder expectations across engineering, product, and business teams. A solid understanding of the technical domain relevant to your programs is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
  • Independently author program charters that define scope, timelines, objectives, success metrics, resourcing needs, risks, and dependencies for advanced programs.
  • Develop detailed project and program plans that break initiatives into discrete phases, identify constraints, surface risks, and provide clear execution visibility.
  • Drive end-to-end program execution, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs to ensure successful delivery.
Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to enable effective decision-making.
  • Clarify, optimize, and align program roles and responsibilities across participating teams.
  • Manage program escalations in close partnership with stakeholders, providing clear context and recommended paths forward.
Technical & Operational Leadership
  • Independently triage technical issues across teams and assess the impact of technical risks or escalations.
  • Where relevant, resolve or coordinate solutions for issues related to tools, processes, or workflows that support engineering execution.
  • Apply sound technical judgment when evaluating options, constraints, and implementation trade-offs.
Communication & Governance
  • Design and deliver predictable, stakeholder-specific communication plans that provide transparency into progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Represent the program and program team across a wide range of forums and touchpoints.
  • Define and maintain program governance structures, including escalation paths, mitigation strategies, postmortems, and decision frameworks.
  • Drive effective and efficient program meetings with clear agendas, ownership, and outcomes.
Change Management
  • Execute change management activities identified by program stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver change rollout plans, including impact analysis, readiness assessments, and adoption strategies.
  • Monitor rollout progress and identify or resolve misalignments to ensure successful implementation.
Metrics, Data & Continuous Improvement
  • Independently determine, collect, and analyze data required to govern programs and measure success.
  • Maintain accurate project trackers, dashboards, and status reporting with minimal guidance.
  • Define program phases, success metrics, and checkpoints that enable continuous improvement and responsible resource use.
  • Establish regular reviews to evaluate outcomes, drive optimization, and provide transparency into program pivots and course corrections.
Required Skills & Competencies

  • Team leadership and coordination
  • Stakeholder management and influence
  • Technical judgment and problem-solving
  • Communications management (written and verbal)
  • Change management and organizational readiness
  • Execution, governance, and risk management
  • Planning and prioritization
  • Continuous improvement and operational excellence
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing complex technical programs across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
  • Strong understanding of technical systems, development processes, and engineering workflows relevant to assigned programs.
  • Track record of delivering programs that meet business, technical, and operational goals.
