Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Digital Product Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in user-centered discovery, interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping and a proven ability to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging mobile experiences that align with business goals and technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Research, concept, and design user experiences that simplify complex functionality for a commercial mobile app.
- Create site maps, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interaction prototypes to communicate design recommendations.
- Support and conduct user research, including usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and user interviews.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and cross-functional partners to advocate for user needs and align with business goals and technical constraints.
- Partner with development through implementation to ensure design intent and quality are maintained.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
- Act as liaison with Risk, Audit, and Analytics to align designs with policy and risk appetite.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BA or certification in Design, focusing on Experience, User Experience, or Interaction Design, or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience designing digital products with demonstrated outcomes.
- Portfolio demonstrating professional-caliber UX and interaction design work.
- Ability to own and articulate design decisions grounded in user insights and business goals.
- Basic understanding of agile product development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to Design Thinking principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for design and prototyping.
- Expertise in usability, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience mentoring peers in design methods and collaboration practices.
- Experience identifying and driving impactful design changes in iterative cycles.
