Jobb Description:
Seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support the production and troubleshooting of advanced RF/microwave hardware used in high-reliability defense applications. This position offers a blend of hands-on lab work, RF testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers.
The selected engineer will support multi-function RF modules across all phases of the product lifecycle while working independently to resolve complex technical issues in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support production, troubleshooting, and verification of complex RF/microwave modules.
Analyze and resolve integration, test, and performance issues in a manufacturing environment.
Perform hands-on RF and microwave hardware testing using advanced test equipment.
Collaborate with hardware, systems, manufacturing, and circuit design engineering teams.
Lead or support failure investigations and root-cause analyses.
Review and interpret technical documentation including schematics, specifications, and test reports.
Ensure design integrity and compliance with high-reliability defense electronics standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (preferred) or in another STEM discipline.
5+ years professional engineering experience.
Experience troubleshooting hardware in a production or manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with RF/microwave test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
Experience using RF/microwave simulation tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desired skills:
Master's degree in electrical engineering (or related field).
Prior experience in defense electronics.
Expertise with RF subsystems such as antennas, transmitters, receivers low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), high-power amplifiers (HPAs) mixers, switches, frequency generators & converters
Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.
Ability to lead technical investigations and drive resolutions.
Experience creating technical documentation and specifications.
Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, industrial engineers, and production staff.
