Location: Austin, TX (Secondary: Westlake)

Job Type: Contract to extend/hire

Duration: 12+ Months

About the job:
  • Our Digital Investor Services team is responsible for defining, delivering, and leading the lifecycle of our platforms and services, enabling digital interactions with clients at scale. We aim to change both how we operate and how the industry serves investors.


  • In this role, you will support the development of content creation and the delivery of digital messaging platform capabilities. You will partner with cross-enterprise platforms to understand their messaging needs-including client and firm impact-prioritize those needs, and build out a messaging strategy. You will execute the delivery of messaging that aligns with the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap of Digital Messaging. Additionally, you will support a product roadmap and work alongside a team of product owners who continually evolve how we communicate with our clients and measure our success.


Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Prioritization: Define and prioritize the product backlog to deliver on business vision; ensure the team knows exactly what they are expected to build.
  • Execution: Execute the development process with technical teams, internal partners, and external vendors from beginning to end. This includes writing business requirements/user stories, working with legal/compliance, conducting UAT, and communicating status.
  • Agile Leadership: Champion Agile methodologies by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, user story preparation, and demos. Support sprint/release plans with the Scrum Master.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, technical, product, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define release requirements and resolve production issues.
  • Client-Centric Design: Ensure customer-driven design across user pain points, market needs, and usability test results. Think "horizontally" to deliver an exceptional experience across channels.
  • Evangelism: Serve as a subject matter expert for the messaging channel, creating awareness and engagement plans for your capabilities while updating management.


Minimum qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Digital Product Owner.
  • Strong knowledge base and experience developing or leading digital platforms and underlying technologies.
  • Experience in Data Analytics with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing, and product teams to lead the lifecycle of a digital platform.
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex concepts to senior leadership and diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to track multiple project deliverables with minimal direction.
  • Bachelor's degree required.


Preferred qualifications:
  • Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading Scrum teams.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Good understanding of, or experience with, financial services regulations.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks (e.g., performance risk, mitigation plans).
  • MBA preferred.
