Job Title: Senior Cisco Collaboration Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cisco Collaboration Engineer to provide administration, operational support, and troubleshooting for a large-scale Cisco Unified Communications environment. The consultant will support CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Expressway, CUBE, SIP trunks, voice gateways, and Cisco endpoints while ensuring reliable voice and collaboration services in a mission-critical healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Cisco Collaboration technologies including CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, CER, Expressway, CUBE, SIP trunks, and Cisco endpoints.
Perform MACD activities, endpoint registration, dial plan updates, phone firmware upgrades, and gateway administration.
Troubleshoot call routing, SIP signaling, voice quality, voicemail, PSTN, E911, and endpoint-related issues.
Monitor platform health, support maintenance activities, change management, and system documentation.
Collaborate with network, security, telecom, server, and operations teams to maintain highly available communication services.
Required Skills
3+ years of hands-on Cisco Collaboration/Unified Communications experience.
Strong experience supporting large CUCM environments.
Expertise in CUCM, Unity Connection, CUBE, SIP Trunks, Voice Gateways, Expressway, and IM & Presence.
Strong knowledge of SIP, SCCP, MGoogle Cloud Platform, H.323, SRST, QoS, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and certificates.
Experience troubleshooting Cisco voice infrastructure, PSTN connectivity, E911, analog devices, and Cisco IP phones.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration certification.
Experience with UCCX, Webex, Jabber, Hybrid Calling, or Cisco UC migration projects.
Exposure to Python, PowerShell, APIs, BAT tools, and ITIL/Change Management.
