Summary

Job Title: System Analyst

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite, 5 day/week)

Duration: Long Term contract

Duties:

Acted as a liaison between the business client and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems solved through strategic e-commerce-based solutions (e.g., Intranet and Internet);
Was responsible for producing business requirement artifacts including Use Cases, Business and Message Rules, Supplemental (Non-Functional) Specifications, and User Interface Design Specifications for large and complex projects;
Led project throughout the entire project life cycle, from Inception through post-Install Transition;
Worked directly with all levels of the organizational hierarchy across the organization and was widely considered the highest-level functioning expert;
Performed walkthrough with IT team to ensure all requirements were clearly understood by IT team;
Monitored project progress through daily meeting with IT team & report back to user community;
Took corrective action to prevent any anticipated issues under guidance of project managers; and
Assisted UAT team in organizing test scripts & test plan.

Technical Duties:

Act as a first line of defense for any production issues.
Engage in troubleshooting using new relic, sql, elmah.
Wear hat of solution architect to solve business problem.
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Responsible for the technical design of databases, including defining tables, schemas, and relationships. This ensures data is stored efficiently and can be retrieved effectively.
