Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (FULLY On-site)
Employment Type: 3-6 month contract with potential to extend or convert perm
Pay rate: 17-20/hr.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Specialist for a contract position. This role is responsible for managing inventory, performing data analysis, and supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can work independently, handle large datasets, and is comfortable in a heads-down, computer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all inventory management and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Manage third-party exchanges and work within a Property Management System (PMS).
- Focus on inventory access and booking for members.
- Perform data entry and conduct forecasting and reforecasting of inventory.
- Utilize templates and find source data, adhering to checks and balances.
- Analyze and interpret mass data, identifying details and areas for correction.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Advanced experience working with large datasets for extended periods. Candidates must be coachable, open to feedback, and able to pivot in a dynamic environment.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Candidates should understand the concepts behind macros and be adept at problem-solving within Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- An accounting background is considered beneficial.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Experience with SQL to retrieve data from systems.
Work Environment
The role is fully onsite, particularly during the training period. All necessary equipment, including a laptop, will be provided. The position requires the ability to work independently with a high degree of focus.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour.
