Role: - Project Manager - Marketing Operations
Location - Broadway, NYC – onsite
Duration: 6+ Months
We are seeking a Project Manager to support high-priority marketing operations initiatives focused on bringing structure, visibility, and governance to complex advertising and marketing ecosystems.
The primary initial focus will be Project Watchtower, an initiative to centralize and optimize paid media infrastructure across organisation. This role will also support additional strategic and operational projects across the team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can create structure where it does not yet exist. Capacity will be 50–75% focused on Project Watchtower, remainder supporting additional high priority marketing operations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery and inventory of complex marketing and operational ecosystems, including paid media platforms, accounts, vendors, and billing structures
- Map account structures, ownership, and data flows across platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs, etc.)
- Identify redundancies, inactive assets, ownership gaps, and operational risks
- Document vendor relationships, support models, and internal ownership
- Build and maintain a centralized system of record (e.g., Airtable or similar tools)
- Create clear documentation (process maps, workflows, governance models)
- Translate findings into prioritized recommendations and phased action plans
- Support early-stage optimization efforts (account consolidation, tracking, process standardization)
- Drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, finance, legal, privacy, and external partners
- Apply structured problem-solving to additional marketing operations initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of Project Management experience
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, unstructured environments
- Strong systems thinking and problem-structuring skills
- Experience working cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders
- Experience independently leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through execution
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing operations, AdTech, or MarTech environments
- Familiarity with paid media platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs)
- Experience mapping complex systems (accounts, data flows, ownership)
- Background in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Understanding of tracking (pixels, APIs, tag management)
- Experience with structured data tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, etc)
