Job SummaryThe Power Delivery IT team is seeking a Long-term .NET Developer (C#) to help drive innovation and support our transition into the next era of technology. In this role, you will work within an Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional team members to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performing applications. You will play a key role in analyzing business needs, delivering technical solutions, and enhancing existing systems while leveraging modern development practices and tools. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and enhance new or existing systems
- Develop customized programming solutions while maintaining and improving current system functionality
- Collaborate continuously with Business Systems Analysts and cross-functional Agile teams
- Apply appropriate development methodologies, tools, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Design and implement solutions using .NET technologies and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Participate in ticket management processes, including issue resolution and customer satisfaction tracking
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely, effective solutions
- Create detailed technical specifications and modify procedures to solve complex problems
- Lead projects or initiatives when required and provide technical guidance to team members
- Mentor and support junior developers through training and best practice sharing
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and general computing controls
- Define and monitor system performance metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain strong understanding of delivered solutions and continuously improve system performance
- Produce required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC
- WCF, COM, ODP.NET
- DevExpress or similar UI frameworks
- Experience with source control tools such as Git
- Strong front-end development skills, including JavaScript and Angular
- Experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP web services
- Strong database experience with SQL Server
