Role Overview
The AI Developer 4 is a principal-level expert who provides technical vision and organizational leadership for AI initiatives while remaining hands-on in writing code. This role defines and owns the enterprise-wide AI technical architecture, leads complex and high-impact AI transformations, and serves as a trusted subject matter expert to executive leadership. The position also involves establishing governance and ethical AI frameworks, setting long-term technical standards, and mentoring top technical talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical vision and organizational leadership for AI initiatives.
- Define and own the enterprise-wide AI technical architecture.
- Lead complex and high-impact AI transformations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to executive leadership.
- Establish governance and ethical AI frameworks.
- Set long-term technical standards and mentor technical talent.
- Anticipate industry trends and guide strategic investment in emerging AI technologies.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
Experience: Over 15 years of experience in software engineering and applied AI is necessary.
Technical Skills: Candidates must demonstrate strong Python proficiency and have proven experience designing scalable distributed AI systems. Expertise in AI/ML with enterprise-scale impact, supported by extensive experience in system architecture, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems, is required.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and strategic communication skills are essential for this role.
