Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Storage Administrator with strong expertise in DASD management, tape storage systems, and IBM mainframe storage hardware. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise mainframe storage environments, disaster recovery operations, and storage replication technologies.

Tape Management Systems (DFSMSrmm, CA-1, TLMS)
Storage Hardware & Virtualization (IBM DS8K, TS7700, FICON)
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support Mainframe Storage Systems including Tape and DASD environments
• Administer IBM DS8K, TS7K/VTS Grid environments, and virtual tape solutions
• Manage tape management systems such as IBM RMM, OAM, CA-1, and TLMS
• Support replication technologies including Global Mirror, Global Copy, CSM, and DSCLI
• Administer DFSMS, DFSMShsm, ACS routines, storage groups/classes, and catalog management using IDCAMS
• Perform storage provisioning, migration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery support
• Handle FlashCopy/Snap, DR readiness, and recovery testing activities
• Support MLC updates, code loads, and hardware/software maintenance activities
• Perform data recovery activities for Tape and DASD systems
• Utilize IBM utilities such as IDCAMS, ISMF, and Dcollect
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, DR coordinators, vendors, and clients
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior team members
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience managing Mainframe Storage Systems
• Strong expertise with z/OS storage administration and IBM storage technologies
• Experience with DFSMS, DFSMShsm, OAM, and storage replication tools
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery processes within mainframe environments
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within team environments
