Job Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager III to lead the Dynatrace OneAgent upgrade work and associated Global Settings workstreams across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including application owners, platform teams, and Dynatrace vendor partners, to drive the project into production readiness. This role will also focus on operationalizing a repeatable, low-risk cadence for future upgrade cycles and tenant/global configuration changes.
Responsibilities: - Independently manage the Dynatrace OneAgent Upgrade project, including phased rollout, automated and manual validation, issue triage, rollback execution, and remediation.
- Lead the planning and execution of Dynatrace Global Settings updates across tenants, ensuring minimal production impact and creating enterprise standards for global configuration management.
- Maintain project artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, runbooks, and SteerCo reporting materials.
- Communicate effectively with application teams, platform engineering, support, and executive stakeholders, preparing concise SteerCo materials and addressing risks proactively.
- Deliver operational handoff materials, including validated runbooks, acceptance criteria, automation scripts, and a repeatable cadence for future upgrades and global settings updates.
- Own project-level tracking and reporting artifacts, including integrated status updates, operational readiness dashboards, RAID logs, and dependency trackers.
- Provide daily status reporting during change windows and produce SteerCo-ready materials and post-change validation reports.
Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in technical project management, with demonstrable expertise in leading observability/monitoring platform upgrades or equivalent platform change programs.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise upgrades across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes (including Operator upgrades).
- Strong competency in change and release management for production systems, including patch cycles, planned host restarts, and change windows.
Key Skills & Competencies: - Project delivery expertise, including planning, scheduling, risk and dependency management, and RAID ownership.
- Familiarity with observability tooling, particularly Dynatrace OneAgent and Dynatrace Operator.
- Proficiency in change control, including release planning, rollback design, and controlled restart approaches to minimize impact.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present updates to executive stakeholders and create detailed program artifacts.
- Collaboration skills to coordinate with application owners, infrastructure teams, Dynatrace contacts, and platform operations.
- Adaptability to work effectively across mixed delivery models, legacy and modern tech stacks, and organizational complexities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintaining clarity and forward progress amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Proactive risk and issue management, with a focus on early identification, escalation, and mitigation of risks and dependencies.
- Experience in producing integrated project dashboards, RAID/dependency trackers, and executive-level reporting.

Pay Range: $60- $65
