Description
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support the multiple AI workstreams through the selection, onboarding and management of third party vendors and products. This role requires hands-on project management of complex knowledge of claims and underwriting as well as how AI can support business growth. The ideal candidate will play a critical role as the organization undertakes a major modernization efforts. This includes working closely with claims, IT, and operational teams to align business processes, minimize service disruptions, and maximize the benefits of the new platform for both internal users and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate partner selection, ensure they are exceeding their deliverables and partnering with them to reduce risk
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for transformation initiatives, closely collaborating with claims operations to align project milestones with the platform transition schedule.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing solutions and escalation processes as needed
Facilitate collaboration between business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure successful project outcomes, including facilitating knowledge transfer and training for users adapting to the new claims processing system.
Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to key stakeholders and executive sponsors
Required Qualifications:
Strong project management experience, ideally in the insurance industry and with exposure to policy administration processing platform implementations or upgrades.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with claims, IT, and vendor partners during large-scale platform changes.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, preferably with experience supporting insurance system upgrades or replacements.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for data transformation initiatives, with close alignment to claims operations and platform upgrade activities.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing solutions and escalation processes as needed to protect claims data integrity and compliance throughout the migration.
Facilitate collaboration between business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure successful data migration and project outcomes, especially for users impacted by the new claims processing platform.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
