Job Summary Seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern digital web applications within a cloud-first enterprise environment. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that enhance customer digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in frontend and middle-tier development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and digital experiences Build robust frontend and middle-tier solutions using modern web technologies and frameworks Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications Collaborate with architecture, security, UX, and platform engineering teams to deliver compliant and high-quality solutions Implement secure, resilient, and testable applications using modern development best practices Support cloud-first initiatives using AWS cloud-native technologies and containerized environments Participate in Agile and Scrum development processes Contribute to engineering standards, tooling strategies, and development best practices Support DevOps initiatives including CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines Ensure applications align with secure coding standards and enterprise security practices Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to analyze and solve technical challenges Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience designing and implementing web applications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience working in Agile and Scrum development environments Strong experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, web components, Node.js, or Angular Strong experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, MVC design patterns, micro front-end strategies, and microservices architectures Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs Strong understanding of open-source technologies and web application/API security Experience with Git-based version control workflows and source code management Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, Git, and GitHub Knowledge of cloud solutions, serverless architecture, and containerization strategies Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud technologies Experience developing secure applications following secure coding standards and best practices Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), automation, and quality-first engineering practices Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with functional programming and modern frontend/API design patterns Understanding of trunk-based development, feature toggles, and branch-by-abstraction methodologies Experience supporting cloud-first digital transformation initiatives Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering leadership initiatives Familiarity with healthcare benefits and management platforms or enterprise digital customer experience solutions Education: Bachelors Degree
