Job Description:
- A successful candidate in the role will support leadership level aerospace programs by driving execution, coordination, and accountability across technical and program management activities.
- This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross functional engineering teams to ensure test and certification related program commitments are met, tracked, and communicated effectively.
- Additionally, you will act as a trusted representative in meetings, translates discussions into measurable actions, and ensures progress against a large volume of structured requirements.
- It is imperative that for this role, you have prior knowledge in aviation and aerospace projects or programs.
Required Skills:
5-7+ years of working knowledge of Systems Engineering
Understanding of aerospace testing and certification environments (requirements + validation)
Familiarity with aviation programs, ideally within comparable aerospace environment
Solid foundation in general project/program management
Ability to manage complex workstreams with high attention to detail
Comfortable balancing technical rigor with leadership level coordination
Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
