Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the Network Operations team. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, providing leadership, and ensuring the effective utilization of team members. The IT Manager will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions, collaborating with leaders across IT, and driving operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader to make a significant impact in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Network Operations team, providing guidance and supervision.
  • Ensure effective team performance and development, including 24/7 support.
  • Oversee network operations across multiple data centers and corporate campuses.
  • Manage tools, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient issue resolution and customer management.
  • Handle escalations and manage support for critical incidents.
  • Lead and coordinate large-scale network projects, ensuring timely completion.
  • Develop and implement processes to optimize network operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive opportunities to further cloud networking objectives and implement automation initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area.
  • 6+ years of related experience in network operations.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical professionals in a complex networking environment.
  • Knowledge of network technologies supporting LAN/WAN, cloud, and broadband (e.g., VPN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
  • Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work 4 pm CST to 1 am CST.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Experience in a large technology/network environment.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure technologies and services.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Strong ability to challenge current solutions and align organizational goals.

Pay Range: $130K- $145K

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
