Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of complex IT initiatives. In this long-term contract role, you will lead teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring projects align with strategic goals. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, this position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing critical projects for our organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines.
Implement Agile Scrum frameworks to facilitate collaboration and efficiency within project teams.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve roadblocks.
Utilize Atlassian Jira to track project progress, manage tasks, and ensure transparency across stakeholders.
Monitor and report on project performance, including budget adherence and resource allocation.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within project teams.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management.
Prepare and deliver detailed project documentation and status updates to leadership.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and frameworks.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills to engage teams and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Solid understanding of project lifecycle processes, including risk management and resource planning.
